Have any of you upgraded your stock LT buffer springs? I hear that running a Tubbs Buffer spring has helped some people have more relable OBR's. Just wondering what others are running in theres? Stock or the "Tubs buffer" spring upgrade! If you have upgraded to a better buffer spring point me in the right direction!
Thanks! |

Has there been a string of unreliable OBR's? |
| Nope not at all. I have seen a few OBR and once in a while will short stroke. I had a buddy replace his LT stock buffer string with one of those Tubbs buffer springs and it started to work like a champ with no issue. There was no other change what so over just the buffer spring. I guess that flat stronger buffer spring did the trick. Just wanted to see if anyone once else has replaced there standard spring with a better one. |
| Thanks! One of those things that I wanted to know so that If I have issues I can say." OH ya I remember that fix!" and move along. Please dont get me wrong I freaking love my OBR. But like any fine sports car that come out of the factory it can take a little modification here and there. For example...mine came from LT with a .942 proof target with FGMM ammo. Spent a little time now and have the thing humming and running like a formula one car. Shot a 0.52 with it the other day with some custom handloads. Could not be happier. Just one of those things that if there is a beter buffer spring id like to run it! |
