I ordered mine back in mid December last year and I was told something like 3-5 months wait. When I was drooling over one of the ones at your booth, I mentioned to Mr. Alfred that I had one on order. He asked when I ordered it, and I told him. Then he said it'll be a bit of a wait, and I asked how long. He said 7-8 months!
I'm hoping he or I misunderstood. Can anyone who knows chime in? 3-4 would be perfect timing, but 7-8 would hurt  I'm on the list for an 18", but I'm going to call soon and have it changed to a 16". I don't care if it takes the same amount of time, but I think a 16" would better suit my needs.

I dont think anyone really knows precisely at this point, they had 13 months of orders before they shipped the first one. Larue (alone) knowns how many orders they have and would have a better idea the rate they think they can build them at, but things change, parts can become short supply again, machines break etc. So far it seems to be fairly slow(not many reports of delivery)., but they may be still doing them deliberately to get used to the process.
If they are saying 7-8 months now its probably going to be that or longer. |

It is all speculation at this point but if I get mine (ordered Dec) by June I'd be tickeled! Hell, FateBringer is the King of Wait...if he can continue the patience I sure as hell can!  Look at it this way: The longer it takes the more AARs you get to scour to help pick your stock and glass  . |

Actually thats not true at all (but I do better when I know what's going on) I dont know how far up Larue's sh**list I am this week but I've definately made it in the past out of impatience. I'm also not the longest one waiting I know someone with an order at least a month before mine also posted that they had passed on the 16". Hopefully we will see the 18" and 20" soon I think the poll has proven that many many people didnt have the 16" in mind when they ordered. |

[/span] [/div] That's of little consolation. Glass is taken care of and I won't need more than a month to find a good buy on a PRS and the other "necessities"...  Agreed that Fatebringer and others have taken patience to a whole 'nother level.

I also ordered in December and don't expect anything till August. I don't mind waiting. I waited for a yea for a 243 wssm upper, which I sold once I ordered this. I've been waiting since October for a Beneli M4 Tactical SBS, and once it's in I have to wait for the ATF paperwork to go through. Onceyou start playing with NFA items you get use to waiting. I think the poll has proven that many many people didnt have the 16" in mind when they ordered. I voted 40 times brother!!!
