I have been looking around for just the right offset mount for iron sights. When I was remounting my MOE Rail flashlight mount, it hit me; they are a nearly perfect angle for BUIS!

Has anyone used or tested them as such? I know they are polymer, but they are very robust.

Yes, I did test this idea, and it seems to function well enough.



The sights end up just slightly (like, 1/16") off of being over the bore, nothing to worry about there.  Not the most elegant looking offset sight solution, but it will function.

That is cool! You are right; not the most elegant or sleek, but looks like it will work. And decently priced, as well.
