I have the RRA Varminter which I've tweaked and used for NRA High Power Match.  Today while doing dry-fire practice I noticed that my swivel was loose.  I tightened it up and continued practice, but later this evening I decided to fix it in place with some threadlocker.  I was a bit dismayed to hear a CLUNK and find that there is a loose nut holding my swivel into the front stock.  his.
Thanks for your info.

Oh teh noes the end of the world is upon us!!!
Seriously though, it can be tedious but the sling stud and nut are easily re-mounted. Some long skinny needlenose pliers, hemostat, or one of those telescoping magnetic picker-upper thingys is really all you need to hold the nut in place so you can thread the stud in place.

What he said.  We use the long curved hemostats.
On the one piece tubes, the hole has to be drilled and the combination of stud, washer, and nut have to be installed after the upper is assembled for alignmnet purposes.  On multi-piece tubes it's a bit easier as the tube can be aligned to a set position, so a threaded component becomes an option.
