Bushy made the BAR-10 and BM308 under license from RRA on our patented designs. When they relinquished rights back to RRA, we took a couple years going through the design and eventually the LAR-8 was the outcome.
You should be able to use one of our current A4 uppers on your lower. The BCG was completely redesigned, and the current charging handle uses a traditional latch rather than the spring-loaded top detent. You would have to replace the complete carrier group or charge handle assembly in order to use parts of either in your rifle. There was a problem with one batch of bolts that they used, but all in all there weren't that many issues with the rifle. It was priced excessively high which may have hurt their sales at the time. Value is relative...I would suggest any number of internet sale sites to get an idea of what it might be worth/what going price is. Steve/RRA |
