Hey Steve just sold an elite operator 2 and upgraded to the new operator 3. It's being delivered next week and so I have a question about the rail.
I'm going to be attaching a sling via hk clip or qd base. Do the short 2in rails have qd built into them? I want to have a bipod stud on the bottom as I won't be using a VFG but want the option to put a bipod on. Do. I need another short rail for this or can I just put the stud on there without a rail? I love the ergo grip, I think the operator 3 comes with the Hogue, can I send in the hogue in exchange for an ergo? I think that's it. Thanks for your help answering questions on here, have a happy thanksgiving. The 2 inch rails are just rails..mounting a sling to one would still require a sling adaptor of one sort or another. The threaded inserts in the handguard are the same thread as the male studs we use for bipod or sling mounting on our Varmint tubes etc...we ave them availabel individually if needed. We can't exchange th egrips but can certainly offr to sell you an Ergo as a replacement. Thanks. Steve/RRA |
