On Monday the 3rd of the this month I ordered from the Quantico Arms online store.  My order reference number is # 1919-9197-3417.  Immediately after ordering I received an automated order acknowledgement.  On the 14th I asked about the status of my order through an e-mail but I never received a response.  Today I sent out three more e-mails ( one to each: [email protected] & [email protected] & [email protected] ).  I have no idea about the status of my order.

From the other posts on this forum it seems that I am not the only one having this problem with Quantico not fulfilling my order and not responding to my e-mails.

Cyclic, I see that you have helped other members of this forum with resolving their problems with their orders.  Could you help me with my order problem?

Thank you in advance

How about a listing of items in your order?

I don't have direct access to the online order system, but I can check inventory in any store directly. If you get it to me/here before work tommorrow I'll check inventory for you.

I'm not sure if its the system or what, the common issue seems to be the July 3/4th weekend and failure to respond to emails. I will address both with the brass tommorrow and hopefully have this resolved.

Again, too all readers, I will check what I can in system. I appologize for any issues with contacting via email. Feel free to direct contact ANY Quantico store for an over the phone order or email in an order direct with inventory verification.

Remember, I only work part time at the store, but since I spend so much time online I try to help out in this forum. Be civil and I will do what ever I can to help.

Cyclic, thanks for going beyond the call of duty and helping all of us out. You responded very quickly.

I guess it would have been best had I waited a few days so that I would have gotten the free shipping (by adding another item) and perhaps avoided these issues.

Here is what I ordered ( I ordered only one of each listed ):

- Spec-Ops Day Pack O.D: 60XD00OD : $47.96

- Assault Pack Accessory Pouch O.D: 603DAPOD : $15.96

- Rite In The Rain Pocket Notebooks: 3x5 Shirt Pocket Top Spiral – Tan: 935T : $3.20

- Order Subtotal: $67.12

- Shipping: UPS Ground to Zip Code 95621 : $8.79

- TOTAL: $76.58

Thanks,

OK baron, I checked with my boss today, I brought up the AR15 sight and showed her whats happening in cyber space. She immediately started doing some official emails to try to get things straight. Hopefully you will get a quick response.

I still have not received any responses to my numerous previous e-mails to three different addresses. I am still no closer to knowing the status of my order then I was at the beginning of the month.  I could imagine that there is some sort of error in the system that would prevent numerous people’s orders from being processed.  However I find it hard to believe that there is some legitimate reason as to why a company does not answer e-mails after such an extended period of time.  From my end ( as a customer ) I feel that I am being disrespected by this company.  They don’t seem to feel the need to respond to the e-mails.  Perhaps that isn’t true but there is no evidence to lead me to believe anything else.  Aside from forum messages from Cyclic I have received absolutely no responses from anyone associated with Quantico Arms at all.

I am done with futile attempts to get this company to respond.  I should have already had my items arrive by now and there has been plenty of time for me to have ordered it from another company with successful results.  I am tired of being ignored by the company and now I simply want to cancel my order.  I have been ignored long enough and I no longer wish to deal with this as I expect this could go on for over a month more.  I am stating that here and now on the forum and will be sending it in e-mail messages to three of the company e-mails.  After being ingnored I do not want to give money to this company and would rather buy those items somewhere else.

I have gone from being uncertain of my order status, to annoyed with the lack of response from the company, to the point of now being angered by this company’s inaction.  This is the third worst company I have ever dealt with.  I don’t know how well the actual store locations deal with such issues so I do not have an opinion of them.  However, when it comes to the online Quantico Arms store I will never attempt to buy from them again and would steer anyone clear form there.

Cyclic, thanks for trying to help but the company seems to be either incapable of even sending e-mail responses or has no interest in doing so.

Hi,

I regret, but understand your decision.

Here is an excerpt of what I posted in my above tacked post:

#2. An e-mail confirmation is sent from the shopping cart upon receipt of the order. When items ship, UPS/FedEx/USPS automatically sends a notice with tracking numbers. If something is going to be on backorder, we send an e-mail to EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER (I know, because I inspect this. Whenever I get a complaint, I ALWAYS go to the shipping department and make them show me the e-mail they sent in the "sent items" folder). Here's where it get's good. ALOT of e-mails get caught in spam filters, either something you have configured, or something your ISP has set up. This gets particually frustrating because you keep sending e-mails and never get a response and my guys send responses and keep getting hate mail. (Once again, please note that this doesn't happen very often...But it is a big deal when it does happen).

We're going to take steps to alleviate this, but as long as TCP/IP is "best effort" and people/companies/ISPs have SPAM filters, this unfortuanely happens with e-mail.

I'll look into it in the morning and publically post what happened.

Dave Hensley
