I recently ordered an Elite Carbine Mid Length in early May. RRA quoted 10-12 weeks. We now hit that and gone past the 12 week quote. The FFL which I ordered contacted RRA and got the standard it should be done in a couple weeks. My question is are the any production issues that would cause the delay. I did order some extras like the chrome lined barrel and few others. I really want a RR AR but and am willing to wait a week or 2. I would like to get a better answer than the standard a couple of weeks. What I don't want to happen is the a couple of weeks pass without getting the order we go through the same thing again. If it is going to be more than another week or 2 then I would definitely choose to go with another manufacturer. I don't want to, and I have heard great things about RRA but I am not willing to wait another month. Thanks |

Nothing stands out, from your description, that would cause anything beyond the "normal" shipping delays, although the more subs and upgrades, the higher the likelihood of a delay. Not knowing the exact order information precludes my looking it up...which really is a function of the Sales/Customer Service Department..if the requester will give them time to follow up. Normally, they can give a much better answer if they're given a day to respond to a request for info on a specific order. Otherwise, especially if the caller is asking for an immediate response, he'll get the canned 8-12 weeks with some running longer and some going out sooner (se the thread below withthe customer who got his Entry Tactical in four weeks). Thanks. Steve/RRA |

Customer Service is still a better route to take for info on a specific order. If you want to IM me the info, I might be able to help out (if you've alreay done so, please do it again...I don't remember the specific orders I helped with this morning let alone a week or more ago). Steve/RRA |
