Greetings.
Is it possible to pick up an order directly from LT's offices? I live about 5 miles on the other side of 1431 in Cedar Park, so actually having it delivered seems unnecessary since I can throw a rock from my front door and hit the place it would be sent from. Thanks. |
| No, but you can go here which is just around the corner. Once I'm settled in Cedar Park I'll just get my lower delivered there, who knows it may skip the shipping fees. |

If you order online, and you're local, shipping is automatically waived which is very cool. It's probably sympathy for we poor bastards who have to pay sales tax. God help me if they ever put in a store front. Can you imagine being able to walk in and pick up an OBR off the shelf? Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Thanks for all the replies, guys.
I'd certainly qualify as local, so that's great to know, FP2000H. By pick up locally, I certainly wasn't fostering any idea that it would be any more than picking up a "package" that I'd already ordered and paid for in advance and getting out of their hair. Free shipping and dealing with an FFL transfer sounds good. re pondfly: Thanks for the idea. I've actually done business with them (her) before and forgot about the fact that they're down the road in Liberty Hill. Bought my first HK from them at a Saxet show a few years ago, and it looks like they're already a LT dealer to boot according to their page. Good people. And yeah, maybe it's a small consolation for the 8.25% we're saddled with. At any rate, anyone know what the turnaround time on a 7.62 OBR is post order? My Appropriations Committee (read as "wife") has green lighted a black rifle build for Christmas. Ho ho ho. Again, thanks to everyone. |
