So I should buy the stripped lower locally, to avoid having to have it shipped and pay a transfer fee... should have picked it up at the last show...oh well, going to one this weekend...

Shipped in and pay a transfer or buy locally and pay tax. Pretty much depends on what brand you want and where you can find them.

I am sure Del-ton can help you out.

Yeah, I would say it depends on how much lowers go for in your area. It is certainly much less of a hassle to buy locally.

What part of NC are you in? There is a gun show in Raleigh, and you can get a lower receiver there.

I am just above Charlotte...We have another show coming up at the end of May, I am just gonna wait and pick it (them) up at that one..
