im placing an order for a BCM blem lower.
stopped by my ffl today... but they didnt seem to want to address the specifics on the order form from bravo. the order form says orders will be returned if not complete and ffl info is to be included with the order. the ffl dealer didnt want to send in my order with a copy of his ffl. he said he would fax in his ffl info to bravo and that i'd have to give him an order number in order to do so. i explained i wouldnt have an order number because i have to mail in the form. he said i could place an order to bravo online. which i dont believe is possible for a lower. needless to say i dont want to send in an addressed money order only to have it returned because it doesnt have proper ffl info or they couldnt locate his fax, etc. i havent had a firearm transferred in years that wasnt purchased or ordered directly through a gun store. please advise on the proper procedure, i dont want any screw ups. thanks |

I suggest you use another dealer. If he refuses to do it correctly then he is wasting your time. It's very easy to put in an order with Bravo. Mail the FFL with a money order and you'll get what you wrote on the order form. Sounds like one of those "know it all" types. |

yeah, the guy was sort of peeving me off because he wouldnt even look at what bravo wanted on the order form. then he said that form is 'for dealers, you can order them on line.'
i dont know if this is standard procedure, but he said he wouldnt give me a copy of the ffl because i could then use the ffl to 'buy whatever i wanted.' which i dont understand, because it would have to be shipped to him and then transferred to me. which is when i said i could bring in the money order, and my order form and he could throw in a copy of his ffl, stamp it and mail it off right there in front of him i think i'll check out another FFL |
