I placed an order last night for a few small parts. Nothing that's currently "the rage" or is just being released... No Pmags, UBR's or CTR's, sights or slings... Having never ordered directly through Magpul, can someone tell me the process after the online order is submitted?
- Does Magpul send out any acknowledgements before the order is shipped? - What carrier do they use to ship? It said "best possible way", or something to that effect... Cost was $8.95... UPS or USPS? FedEx maybe? - My order is small, so it doesn't matter much. But when would my card be charged? - For those of you who have ordered directly through their website, how long did it take for you to receive your order? I COMPLETELY undestand the pressure these folks are under given the condition of the industry. Just had a few questions is all... Thanks... |

I ordered a end plate, sling and poster on 02/24, received the email order confirmation the next day and FedEx delivered 03/05. I never received a tracking number and was rather surprised it got here so quick. The free sticker is kick ass and going on my Jeep. |

Just in... A confirmation for my order!! Weird that it's dated yesterday, and just minutes after placing my order... Must be having IP problems on my end again... - Does Magpul send out any acknowledgements before the order is shipped? Looks like it! - What carrier do they use to ship? It said "best possible way", or something to that effect... Cost was $8.95... Looks like FedEx is the winner. - My order is small, so it doesn't matter much. But when would my card be charged? Didn't matter anyway... - For those of you who have ordered directly through their website, how long did it take for you to receive your order? Plan on about a week. The confirmation, combined with what you told me brings all the questions to a close... Except for.... WHEN DO I GET MY UBR??!! (j/k) |

You will get a confirmation email but our system is not yet capable of automatically sending another when an item ships.
Your card will be billed for a particular item ONLY on the day it goes out the door and we will ship products when they become available, even if that means sending multiple shipments to fulfill the entire order. Even if it takes a half-dozen shipments to close out an order the shipping charge is only billed once. We use FedEX Ground as our default shipping method but can ship via Air, UPS, or Postal if necessary. If an item is in stock it will usually be shipped within five (5) business days of being ordered. However, due to the incredible demand since the Elections many items are temporarily out of stock at any given time. We have made HUGE increases in production, though, and are doing our doing our best during this frenzy... |
