So I'm a fan of Magpul but ordering parts from thier website leaves a little (read: a lot) to be desired.
I ordered parts two days ago and I haven't gotten anything besides one email. The email just says check the website for your order. Except the website tells you next to nothing besides your order number pretty much. I don't inderstand. You get an order for a part, the payment clears and you ship. Why does this take Magpul and some other places two or three days? The same thing happened last time I ordered. PA ships pretty much instantly. And Midway sent out my order the same day too last week. I don't know when it's going to get shipped. When I'm going to get it. Terrible. I wish I could make this more constructive but I don't know wgat to say. Get an order. Ship it. Is it an issue with understaffing? Bad order management system? Bad POS? I mean, I'm sure I'll get it, I did last time, but when plenty of other places do it 100% better I feel this isn't an unreasonable critique |

Sorry for your troubles. We strive to ship within one working day but sometimes it can take a bit longer depending on how busy we are (since we are a manufacturer we have a large Dealer/Distributor/Retailer/OEM/Government network.) Our website redo is still pretty new and we are continuing to tweak for the best direct ordering experience. Shipment confirmation emails are also coming shortly.

Hi Justin. First, thank you for the reply. I understand and I was more or less grumbling under my breathe; letting off some steam.
However, that was days ago. I still haven't heard anything. No update what so ever. Shipping was $5.99 so I'm thinking(should be) priority mail. I ordered it three days ago. I should have it today or tomorrow. But I'm completely in the dark. I'm not trying to put you on blast, again, just some critique. I've been ordering parts lately and updates and fast shipping and handling have been the norm except for Magpul. I know I can call but it sorta seems like a waste of Magpuls time and resources and my time. Plus I'm sure the phone operators get sick of people jonesing to see where thier parts are. I know you aren't God and there isn't too much you can probably do but Id put a boot up your web masters ass and tell him there should be serious updates to the orders section of the site. |

Justin, I know this isn't your fault but in all honestly, I'm fucking furious right now. I've just been on hold for 17:34 seconds listening to that song and some dude say, "sorry chief".
Where is my stock? I've heard NOTHING. I emailed at the end of last week. Got no reply. I can't even get a hold of anybody to cancel this order so I can order it from someone who can actually get it to me and on top of that I'm going to have to pay more money to have it shipped faster so I can have it by Wednesday. I should have had it from Magpul by now! PA, Midway, even sucky ass Botach all would have had this to me by now. This is absurd. I'm IM'ing you my order number. |

We're pretty busy today on the phones (even for a Monday), and it sounds like you got the Get Smart theme song for the hold music where Maxwell Smart (Don Adams) says "sorry chief" at one point in the jingle. Our hold music rotates through that one, A-Team, and Mission Impossible. Regardless, looks like the order was placed on 7/8, shipped on 7/9 via FedEX, and was delivered a couple days ago on 7/11 to the leasing office. Tracking details inbound via IM. Ok. Got the stuff and as usual Magpul equipment does not disappoint.
The DID ship quickly. I just never got an email saying that. I checked my spam and other folders. I still think the Magpul ordering system needs some tweaking but the handling on my order was a lot faster than last time. The main issue this time seems to be Fedex. The tracking number says it was delivered on the 11th but I saw with my own eyes the FedEx driver hand it to the lady in my front office on the 13th. Don't ask me how that happened. You're the man Justin. |
