PSAK GF3 MOEKOV GRAY showed up today at FFL after a little over a week from order, would have been sooner if not for 3 day weekend I am really pleased with initial quality and fit and finish of the rifle. Initially I was going to order the version with the M4 stock but was sold out by the time i checked out, picked up the zukov version and it has grown on me i like the option to change of the LOP while still being able to fold the stock , zukov stock folds to the side with the safety so optic mounts are not an issue also for those who it is a big deal this one did not come with the PSA roll mark on the left side there is a small laser etched emblem on the trunion and a roll mark on the underside of the receiver. i did read somewhere recently they would be leaving out the large roll mark on the sides of the receivers and the older style would work their way out of inventory. I am pleased to have received one of the new receivers, i did change the muzzle brake i was keeping an eye out for an AKE but pulled the trigger on GF3 , seems various models pop most days but are gone within hours, just have to check everyday Attached File |
| Got a psa 103 last month and the gas tube seems a little out of spec and doesn't fit flush to the gas block like my other aks & that may also explain the excessive upper handguard wobble. Other than that its great. I saw reviews with others psa ak's showing the same issue. Was gonna buy a surplus tube but thought Id see if it was enough of an issue to get a replacement from psa and heard these forums were the fastest way to get a reply from them. Thanks! |

On the bright side it shot really well, and the Pilade red dot worked better than I had expected it to for it's price point. I also found that the cam lug on the bolt had some peening. It has moved enough metal on the first angle (that starts the camming) to catch a finger nail. I wonder if this is what happened to my GF3. I was around 500 rounds into mine, when suddenly pulling the trigger gave me a click. I racked the charging handle a few times, and got a click on each trigger pull. Took it apart in the field, and couldn't find the firing pin anywhere. Currently waiting to get it back from PSA, they initially told me to just send in the BCG, then sent it back to me asking me to send in the whole rifle. |

Will PSA sell the NIB carrier or bolt separately? |

If you ever crawl inside an old hollow log and go to sleep, and while you're in there some guys come and seal up both ends and then put it on a truck and take it to another city, boy, I don't know what to tell you.
last month i found myself into my first psa ak-p pistol. its in 7.62x39 and well the photo speaks for itself. Since the photo was took, i have added a Sherriff of Baghdad sling, and a carrying case along with a few magazines too boot too. I really am impressed with the build quality and how solid it is. great little AK.. highly recommend to anyone who is looking to buy this to do so.. probably the best made AK's in the US now are made right here by PSA. |

Got a PSAK-47 GF5 FORGED CLASSIC RIFLE the other day and bought four of these directly from Magpul: Attached File They do not seat because of the steel rear locking lug: Attached File The supplied Magpul magazine worked fine. Anyone else encounter this with the Gen 3 magazines? |
