I recently placed an order through Palmetto on 11/11/13. Been reading on here that some people are less than pleased with either the shipping times of PSA or their lack of customer service.
Well let me just start by telling you what I ordered. The order placed was a "daily deal" which included PTAC 16" M4 1:7" 5.56 NATO SS12G2 BLACKHAWK! Rifle Kit (38720). So to the best of my knowledge it normally takes about 15 days after processing the order to build and ship these products. Being the impatient person that I am, I went ahead and called and looked into the status of my order on the 15th which was Friday. Customer service was very fast and helpful to me and did everything that i requested. The gentleman answered all of my questions the best he could. Still quoting me 15 days after processing I was a little bit anxious being it was already 4 days in and now having to wait another 15.... However when I checked the status of my order on Monday just for shits and giggles and behold, a tracking number. Surely this couldn't be true??? This is one dream that came true my friends my whole upper and parts kits is on its way. Processed and shipped withing 8 days and only 6 of those were business days. When I called customer service to make sure the whole package shipped the gentleman told me that PSA is trying hard to get these orders out faster and really start working on speeding up the deliveries. So to everyone out there waiting on a PSA order, maybe there is hope for you too. order # 100496756 |

Thank you for your order.
We have made changes to shipping in both our organization, and in upgraded equipment and software that should decrease the processing time. It may take a day for the tracking number to actually move depending on the pack time and the UPS pickup time. |
| It defiantly shows. I have since placed 2 more orders with you and intend on staying with you for as long as we are around. Customer Service is great and now better shipping. PSA is going to be a top dog for a long time. I'm building 3 AR's with the help of you guys. Thank you. |

Initially my beef with PSA came from inconsistent information from the store about my internet order.
That left customer service trying to make up for something some jackazz at store did. If I remove that from painting my experience of PSA, id have to say PSA has honored their quoted shipping times. Actually, they bend over backwards when you get a chance to talk to the right people. If you ever get the chance to speak to Customer service (Beth) or JD and Tim (Farrow Rd store) you will be pleased. I was so pleased that I spent more money right after speaking to them. IMO, if I am patient, they will make me happy to buy from them. If I listen to some hackazz in sales who wasn't interested in my question, I will never be happy. Spelling mistakez are all blamed on my phone |

Nor do they have access to the Internet's computer systems to even access such information. To call the stores and inquire about the status of your Internet order is like me calling the BP gas station by my house and asking the attendant where BP is going to be drilling next. LMAO!!!! |

That's funny and true. You almost got me there. I actually get to ask the store about my order (and store policy in this case) when I am called to pick my order up from the store. Still funny though. |

Even still, the sad thing is the stores still have to get their information from the warehouse. Until then, the stores are completely in the dark.
Plus, talking about in-store pick-ups with the stores is a totally different topic then talking about Internet orders with the stores. |
