I apologize if this is a noob question, but I am complete noob when it comes to night vision. Is there a "short answer" to the key difference between these models?
PVS14 Gen 3 Pinnacle Night Enforcer TNV/PVS14 ITT Gen 3 Pinnacle TNV/PVS14 L3 Gen3 Omni VIII I'm interested in the key functional differences that would help me decide which one is for me. The Night Enforcer's hand select tube option caught my eye. I very much believe in buy once/cry once and want to get the "best" model, given there isn't that much of a spread in cost. Just want to make sure I'm not missing something. Intended use is completely for fun/recreational shooting, but the idea of "more than I need" is not relevant as this is one of those boyhood dream purchases for me. (just sayin' Thanks! |

| Thank you! My impression was that, technically, these units were on-par with each other. I'm feeling like that is the case, given your synopsis. I guess I hadn't considered that your in-house models are "hand select without the price" but I get that now. You may have changed my mind... |

Quoted: http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=6&f=18&t=322481 There is a really good answer at the top of this forum. You mention calibers limited to 5.56mm and 300blackout. Which NODs are capable of rifle calibers (7.62mm and up)? If you are referring to 7.62x39NATO (AK-47, etc) then you will need the L3. |
