What is the status of the new plastic BUIS? Or should I say BUPS?

The MBUS (Magpul Backup Sights)? Not really soon, IIRC. But I really want a couple of sets.

Anyone know how much an MBUS weighs? Is there a significant weight savings over a metal BUIS?
