Are these strong enough for a sling attachment for tactical use? I need a side attachment for a sling and don't really see any other option other than a front sight attachment. The MOE attachment would be OK but am afraid it might have a lot of rattle when moving.

I'd be more worried about the plastic holding up to all the torquing a sling is going to get. I'd go metal rail section for a sling.

IWC has some interesting sling mount options for use with MOE handguards.
