I finally found a poor boy optic, saw that they are no longer for sale on the website, I know they were a temporary thing, but I found one for sale on the EE and bought it, but the seller does not have the diameter spacers that Laure issued with it to help the optic fit into a standard mount. Larue or anyone else do you have any extras that I could have or buy, always prefer to have, but will consider buying them as they are relatively key to using the optic.
Thanks for the help. Oh and will there be a holiday dillo this year? |
| I bought some 30mm-1" reducers, had to sand them down because the "magnifier" has a 26.4mm body. I wrapped sand paper around an appropriately sized deep socket and spent ~45 min or so to get them to fit..... the screws were to short to tighten without stripping before I did this. |

Quoted:
Any 30mm to one-inch ring reducers will work. For a magnifier, you don't necessarily need the most rock-solid thing available; just get hold of a cheap plastic set and it should do you fine. Of course, if you do call LaRue, I'm sure they'd be glad to help out. Do you know where I could get a cheap plastic set? |
