I must say I'm very disappointed the customer service I have received from Palmetto.

First- My cc was charged immediately. Which IMO should not happen. Charges should only occur when the item is ready for shipment. I ordered a Fortis REV rail on Sunday April 27 and my card was charged Monday.

Second- It's been two weeks and I still have no shipping info and Palmetto has been very slow to respond to my emails. The first took several days and the second was never responded to. The first email said I would have shipping info early this week. No dice.  

Third- I have yet to speak with a service agent. I have called several times. I've waited many minutes with no answer. First thing in the morning, noon, and afternoon makes no difference. I've asked for a call back and no response.

Forth- After finally getting an email today I was told they may be out of stock on the item but it may be 2 to 3 days before they hear from the warehouse? Incredible!

They have good prices but I can find the same item for a couple bucks more so it's not worth the pain of slow shipping and poor comunication. I even did the IM to them here with no reply. I've now asked for imediate shipping or a cc refund. I'll see how long this takes.

By many minutes, do you mean 3 minutes per call?

I've had to call a couple times recently, and each time I got through in less than 5 minutes on hold. This was around noon CST and around 4 CST the second time.

While I don't like the instant charge, it's how they've always done business. Not really an issue

OP - I'm sorry to hear that you are having this issue.

I see your IM from four hours ago.  Per your request, I will ask Customer Service to issue a refund.
