So my new sparc came today, and I mounted it on my CX4 storm. I used the thin riser and the smallest baseplate for a true co-witness.
My issue is this - it's hard to turn on. I hold the switch for 5 to 10 seconds and nothing happens, until I smack the thing on the side with my palm and then all is well. It turns off just fine, 5 seconds and it's off no issues and no smacking. The brightness adjustments as well as the night vision mode also work just fine. I also tried switching to NV like it says to when turning it on to make sure it wasn't on but still nothing. Any advice or help would be appreciated. |
| Can I just ask one question? When trying to turn on the SPARC, I noticed you said the sight will not turn on if you hold the button down for five seconds. This is actually the way you turn the SPARC off. You mentioned that sriking the button quickly will turn it on but have you tried gently clicking it on and then letting go of it right away? This is the reccommended way to turn the SPARC on. If you haven't tried that yet, maybe give it a shot but if that doesn't help, we definitely want to hear from you. |
