Is this normal or is something wrong? I've tried it on two uppers so far with the same results.

| I have also noticed that usually only 1 lug will make contact when the mount is pushed forward all the way. I have often wondered why multiple lugs were used in the design, considering it's a near physical impossibility that all 4+ will actually abut the rail slots identically, but as long as ONE of them does so squarely, and the 1/2" nuts are even remotely snug, it is just fine. |

It does seems likely that four lugs would give a higher probability of two lugs touching than a standard two lug mount. |
