I have a DPMS Recon right now that weighs about 11.5 pounds with an MOE Rifle stock and Nikon Monarch X 2.5-10 scope.  I'm looking to move to the "next level" possibly with a LaRue...what's the weight of a 16" PredatAR 7.62 with no optic or magazine?  Are these shipping in a reasonable amount of time now or still a long wait?  I see some mixed results looking through the forum on how long it's taking.

Edit:  Clarifying that I'm talking about the 7.62 version.  Sorry.

From LT's website:

Rifle Weight: 6.25 lb. (based on 16.1” barrel version, unloaded without optics)

Wait time is at least 12 months at the moment.

Whoops, I guess I fail at the internet.  I didn't see the weight on there.  Thanks though, that's awesome.  12 months, hmm.  Might do it anyway.

Also clarifying that I'm talking about the 7.62 version, sorry about that...long wait on the 7.62 version also?  I did find the weight after looking again.  7.75 lbs.  Pretty decent.  A Gen. II DPMS might be lighter...but not on the same level of quality...

Long wait on any rifle at the moment, but it looks like they're getting caught up.  I have had a 7.62 tAR on order for going on 14+ months now, but I know it will be worth it from my 5.56 tAR that I currently have.
