[ARCHIVED THREAD] - PredatAR Barrel Weight

I'm a little confused about the PredatAR barrel weight. I thought I read somewhere that the 16" is 27oz, but that's not really lightweight compared to other lightweight barrels. Is it just considered a light weight compared to OBR barrels or did I hear the weight wrong?

Just barrel, no gas block or flash hider.

I don't recall exactly but it was within an oz or 2 of the bcm elw bfh barrel I swapped it for.

I couldn't tell a difference really.

I weighed my 18" and I want to say it was 1lb 13oz. I wished I had taken a picture of it so I could remember.

My 16" Predatar barrel weighed in at 26.4oz.

Just for giggles, my BCM midlength gas ELW 16" barrel weighed in at 23oz.

My new non cleaned PredatAR barrel weighs 26.25oz on two seperate scales.

PredatAR 16": 1 lb, 9 oz
PredatAR 18": 1 lb, 11 oz

Stealth 12": 1.13 lbs
Stealth 14.5": 2.25 lbs
Stealth 16": 2.60 lbs
Stealth 18": 2.92 lbs
Stealth 20": 3.01 lbs
