[ARCHIVED THREAD] - PredatOBR / PredatAR Difference

Is the only major difference between the PredatOBR and the PredatAR the barrel and gasblock? I know there are grip and stock differences. The reason I ask is because I have a 16" Stealth Sniper upper and I have a PredatAR on order. If I took the barrel off of the Stealth, and put it on the PredatAR, Would it basically be a PredatOBR? The gas block on the Stealth is not the same as the PredatOBR one.

Also, would this give me any advantages over a PredatAR as is? The only advantage I can think of is the barrel heating issues and maybe a little more accuracy at long ranges. What do you guys think?

For many the fact that the predatobr can be ordered as a 14.5 length is a huge selling point.

No it would be a Pred with a Stealth bbl....PredatOBR is a Predatar with an OBR BBL..

And the Obr uses a stealth bbl, it says so in the description of the Obr.

I think the rail is shorter on the PredatOBR as well

I would think it wouldn't balance well either. Well I got a lightweight rifle for a reason, I guess I'll just leave it that way.

Thats what I was thinking, but I'm no expert... Sadly, I don't even get to play one on tv either...
