How do you guys like these, not just durability and quality but the reticle as well. Im looking for an optic similar to an acog and this is one of the few choices ive been able to find. I hear good things about PA optics and I like the looks and features, fixed 3X zoom and the fact that its illuminated. I dont know just how I feel about the reticle, part of me likes it part of me thinks it may be a bit to clustered with that thick outer circle. I have never looked through one myself and am just looking for some feed back from someone who has. Pros and cons
Thanks

I honestly don't know, but I talked to Marshall about them and have seriously been considering picking one up.  They're really hard to beat at that price point, don't you think?

yea im def leaning towards one. my main concern is just that reticle, if it was a chevron or just a dot with range lines underneath i would prolly just buy it and not think be thinking so much about it. what did marshal have to say about them?

I love the sight, I bought one with all intentions of putting it on my 10.5 sbr but it wound up on my wifes 16in lightweight Del-ton. This scope is one of the few scopes that she can use due to her horrible eyesight. I dont know much about the battery life because I'm not home as much as id like to shoot with her.  Currently i am saving up to buy the ADM acog mount to place it on. Plus shipping was fast as hell.

I have been extremely pleased with mine. The reticle is very easy to use and is definitely not cluttered. The ring helps getting on target fast and the center dot is nice and small for precision work.

does it have a switch to illuminate the reticle?

There is a dial to change brightness settings. I haven't had to use my illumination while shooting though.

Hmmm I guess that reticle is pretty much like the doughnut of death or whatever that trijicon offers. I just may have to pick one up next month

I have one and like it. I modified the accessory mount to be able to use Butler Creek covers.

I got one, and while I haven't had the opportunity to shoot with it yet, it seems well made, and I Love the reticle.  I think it is a great option for the price point.

Great optic! 300 yard shots are a breeze with it!

Quick shot of  reticle illuminated. It is clear and sharp but my photo skills suck.

I still want one (and another PA micro, dammit), but haven't ordered one yet.

I'm glad I'm changing plans; this optic will be perfect for my carbine.

Just got mine and sighted it in.   One click right and 2 clicks down..  dead on at 100.

Very sharp reticle and clear glass.   It stays very crisp when illuminated but you probably won't ever turn it up over 1 or 2.

So far I'm impressed!   It's better than what i honestly expected.

I tried taking pics of the reticle...  you've seen em.  And its more difficult than it looks.

i just gotta chime in here...i bought one of these cause i needed something for my new Sig 522 swat that i'll pick up friday...i have owned a lot of optics in my life..all the name brands..and in doing so i always judge the glass by
IOR standards..my eyes love IOR glass..anyways i just bought the leupold
HAMR for my
AR a few weeks ago cause im tired of the 1-4x optics..First thing i do is zoom to 4x so why have 1,2 and 3?..anyways the hanr is great, i love the fixed power, the glass is at IOR standards and i'm happy, so with this in mind i thought about the IOR 3x..ive owned one before and figured what a great optic for a 22..but kinda pricey so then i remembered Primary arms..i figured if their 3x wasn't up to snuff i'd sell it..Well.well..i'll never sell it!!! The glass is really on par with IOR's..don't know how Marsh did it..but what a winner this scope is!! And might i point out..On a sunny bright day..my illumination is visible!!!

Very satisfied with mine. Built up a PSA middie and put one on. Low round count so far but zeroed easily and has held.

Would either one of these LaRue QD acog mounts work with this optic?

It's a CMMG 20" medcon.   I kept the a2 stock and replaced the rest with MOE stuff.  That's really about it except for a MBUS and a KNS front sight.

I don't really have any other pics on hand but here are some larger ones.  I've changed the FH since then.

Got my short scope last week :) so far really impressed with the quality.. Eye relief is good, scope is very clear and has a larger fov than I was expecting. Have some crappy cellphone pics.. And no range report yet, but here goes:

What about the LT681...i like it better b/c on the single QD, but if I mount it forward will the QD mess with shell ejection?

ETA...no wories on a response, I bought the LT100.  Should be a good addition to an already great scope.  Thanks though!!

I didn't realize the better designed rail locations on this P.A. scope compared to the Burris version until I saw the big pictures in this thread. Thanks.

What do you prefer for an add-on CQB sight, P.A. micro dot or P.A. reflex sight?
