What am I doing wrong here??
I just bought a Troy Pro Grade Sling Adapter that fits over the stock tube without removing the staked castle nut. I tried installing on my new BCM rifle, but I can't get the adapter to tighten down on the castle nut. I tightened the adjustment screw all the way until it bottoms out, but there is no tension on the castle nut at all - the adapter just slides around. Am I doing something wrong? Does this only fit certain guns? Is my adapter defective? |
