Looks like it is per this thread. Just a couple of tight cross bolts maybe?(guessing by the pics- no first hand experience here) https://www.ar15.com/forums/ar-15/JAKL-barrel-removal/129-775700/ And allI’m looking to do is cut the barrel down, not swap or remove from the extension/trunnion. If one was able to get the barrel out of the receiver(gas block and extension/trunnion still on the barrel) would that be able to fit in a lath to be chopped a little and rethreaded? Like a 13.7 or 14.5 cut to 12.5? |

With the gas block and the pressed on trunnion, we can probably thread it, but it would be very expensive compared to a standard AR barrel. |
I'm no good at telling people what they want to hear when I dont believe it myself :)
