My XD50a has been unboxed and I've played around with it for a bit. Amazing bit of gear, and this XD50a does in fact have the PIP option, which is also able to be toggled off for greater digital zoom. When PIP is enabled zoom seems to be fixed on both the large and PIP screen. |

Just an added bonus to increase an already incredible bank for the buck. On PIP, the full screen will be at lowest power(1x digital), and the PIP will be at the highest power(4x digital). I do not think there is a way to change the PIP zoom, but as you know you can just hit the zoom button and use the regular zoom. How are you liking the remote? This is an under-rated feature in my opinion. Make sure to get out the XD50A's wireless remote and see how you like it. |

We finally finished up the first batch of dual video/power cables for the APEX. One of my biggest pet peeves is too many, or over-sized and unsecured cables on my rifle. The APEX has this problem with the stock cable so we decided to design a dual video and power cable to remedy this issue. The APEX's power input is actually 12v. Even though it runs on 2-CR123A batteries in the battery compartment, when accessing the power input on the M8 connector 6v won't do the trick. So, we designed a cable that splits to go to the MDVR and a 12v battery. We chose a battery that is compatible with our standard battery pouch and has enough juice to run for 15 hours or more. |

In the hour or so I ran the unit so far it really impressed me at distance, the sensitivity out at 1/2 to 3/4mi was way better than expected. Cant wait to get it out hunting. |
