What is the differences between the Colt 6920, 6520, 6721 ? Thanks Mike |

If the 6520 is the Government Carbine, than I think that the lowers are pretty much the same if they are all current production. A spreadsheet might help in undersatanding the differences in the uppers. The 6520 (thin profile barrel) & 6920 (M-4 profile barrel) are 1/7 while I think that the 6721 (heavy profile barrel) is 1/9. The 6920 & 6721 have A-3 uppers with removable carry handles, and the 6520 has a fixed carry handle, with A-2 sights, IIRC. The 6920 and 6721 may also have side mounted front sling swivels. The latter is the heavier of the three. Good shopping!
