I have 2 RRA that I bought as complete rifles in the blue RRA cases.
The 1st I ordered April 25th, 2006 and took delivery May 13, 2006. The serial # is CM 72XXX.
The 2nd I didn't have to order as it was delivered to the FFL/gun shop as stock on or about April 23 or 24,2009. I took delivery 26 hours later on April 25,2009. It's serial # is AC 201XXXX.
What do the letters mean?
Does 201XXXX mean 20 million and some guns made? Thats alotta guns!

When looking at other RRA ARs, I would like to be able to have at least an idea when they were made  based on the serial # and any other info the sn may offer.

Thank you

I highly doubt that Rock River has turned out 20 million guns, they have only been a company as RRA since about '96 IIRC so that would be over a million rifles a year. I dont know.

My RRA has a CM 81xxx S/n. I bought it used so I dont know what it was produced.
