Maybe this is a dumb question just by looking at it but can you put a ranger plate on the PMAG?

No. They do have some for the Pmag in T&E now. I don't think they are cataloged for this year, however. Any get an update from the SHOTSHOW on that?

Magpul showed a PMAG RANGER for the PMAG on page 6 of their 2008 catalog.

Not the standard Ranger Plate that goes on USGI mags, but there is one coming out shortly that is designed for PMAGs.

oh hell yes. i've already bought 2 mags, one ODG and one FDE and i'm expanding my ARs furniture collection :P i've GOT to get some of these. thanks for the catalogue pdf link... i actually already put an order in about 1.5 months ago for a UBR stock. i figure that with a pmag + ranger, ubr, and those new BUIS that would make for one friggin' snazzy lookin gun. has anyone had a chance to use the PMAGs yet in a loaded and stored situation? i'm wondering how the spring and feed lips hold up over time.
