Hey guys, I literally got my Christmas bonus about an hour ago.  Knowing that there is a long delay presently at LaRue, I have a question about ordering.

If I were to order on-line, as is now recommended at the website, is my credit card charged at the time of ordering or at the time of shipping?  The reason I ask is that given the long lead time for builds, our world may change before the gun becomes available.  If my "new rifle" money gets tied up waiting for a rifle I may never get to touch, I could use the money to buy something off of GunBroker or GunsAmerica, for example, or buy another Wilson Combat 1911.  But, the first choice for the rifle has and will always be LaRue.

So, if they charge at shipping, if the weather changes, I could cancel my order and get not nearly as awesome.  If my card is charged upon shipping, I may just go and get something else out of sheer panic.

I have been in depositions all day, so my brain is mush....or more mush than usual.

You guys know what I am asking perhaps better than I at this point.  I just need an answer to know whether I should order tonight before I grab a book and a little scotch.  And I am looking at an OBR in 5.56mm.

So, thanks for reading, enjoy your guns, AND HAVE A BLESSED AND WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!

I will be ordering my new toy right now before settling in with a bit of Ardbeg and a splash of water.
