Marshall, excuse me if this has been asked before, but who and were does your glass come from and who puts it together? Is Primary Arms making their own optics in the P.I? Or do have certain specs that must be attained before you contract out work overseas on your product? Do you guys use the same companies as Sig or Bushnell or even Barska to get your optics from? I have heard that your product seems to be built like a brick shit house and can take a beating, along with a better quality control mechanism in place. Thanks

The current PA branded product are built in China. We are looking at factories in other countries including the US for mounts and cases. I know of no company, of any size, that actually owns their own Asian factory. I can't tell you who builds for the other companies. There are many many factories. Some of the products look the same on the outside but not on the inside. Some of our designs are off the self but even those have upgrades at our request. Some are custom but they will show up other places soon after, LOL. Our Deluxe extended mount is a good example. In all cases I or my engineer partner personally visits the factories we do business. I will be there next month to attend a trade show and sit down with the engineers from two factories to spec out new products for 2011. Keep in mind they are still entry level products the failure rate is higher than LE/military gear, that is why we also the stock the best LE/military grade products. Marshall |
