Just picked up a NIB 6921 upper from a seller on another forum.  I had it shipped directly to ADCO to perm attach an extended A2 flash hider.  I finally got to inspect it today and the tower is "F" marked the barrel is "C" marked along with the "MP" NATO 1/7 like it should.  The upper receiver does not have the "C" stamp on it just the forge marks.  My question is do all Colt recievers come with the "C" stamped on them?

ETA: The seller is very reputable and well known.

The "C" is normal, however there is usually an additional mark identifying where the raw forging came from, for example a "keyhole" mark like the one picutred below. Is the "C" stamped or raised?

One receiver has the "C" mark which I am acustomed too but one has no "C" mark, trying to figure if any colts came without the "C" stamp.  These were 6921's.

Some Colt receivers might not have a C stamped on them.

Do you have any pictures?

Also look inside the upper where the charging handle rides.

You have a Diemaco aka "Colt Canada" stylized D marking and the split A is Alcoa where the raw forgings come from. Nice upper....

The raw forging was from CANADA and finished at the COLT FACTORY U.S.A. I have one that is marked that way all COLT.

That makes sense, thanks for the correction. What forge markings does Alcoa use?
