I would like to have some barrel work done. I have read through the FAQ's and think I have it figured out. However, once it comes to payment I am stumped. I do not use credit cards for gun stuff, and I do not have personal checks. I usually pay with a certified bank check from the credit union, or a postal money order. I read in the FAQ's that you folks do not accept either of those. What options do I have?

I have a Colt Socom barrel that has the threads boogered and want to cut it to 10.3, shave the front sight, and install a 9 inch FF tube (bought from y'all of course)

Thanks....

A certified bank check from the credit union, or a postal money order will be fine.

Um, this is the can i pay with a check question from the FAQs on our site. If you found something else, please let me know.

Can I pay for shop services with a check?
Yes. Order on-line per SOP, and put all 777s in the CC fields and a note in the comment section you are sending a check. Be sure to include enough for return shipping. If you do not include enough for return shipping, the order sits in the corner until you send the correct amount.

Sorry Dave, I just removed the part about PMOs/Certified funds.  Remember I added it after the guy sent a PMO, but his box was damaged and the PMO never made it to us.  Then he said we took his money, and we said he still owed us for the work, he lost the receipt and no one could prove anything...  A personal check avoids all that possible confusion.
