I picked up one of your catalogues at the December Phoenix gun show. I already have a lower from ASA and it is perfect, in fact I wasn't really planning on buying a kit from JTD, but I decided that I ought to shop around a little more. I noticed your prices (this is from the 2000 issue) were quite a bit lower than ASA. I don't have a litmus test, but here are a couple questions which may sway me into the JPD corner. First I'll give you a run down of what I want so you will be able to answer the Q's... 1. A 16" bull barrell in dissipator style (free float handgaurds) with a flat top upper and fluted barrel 2. If you can't do that configuration, I may be willing to do the above with a heavy barrel OK here is the hard part... 1. Can I get either of the above configurations? What would be the total cost for each? 2. Are your rifle kits made to fire "match grade ammo" only or will they fire whatever garbage I put in them? | We do offer the dissipator style 16" with free float on a flattop, but not with a fluted barrel yet. With an HBAR barrel that kit would run $539.95 plus shipping. Our barrels are finished to Mil-spec's (other than the chrome lining). We have them chambered for 5.56 Nato so they will shoot just about anything you come across. |
