I bought a used PRS off the EE.

I am going to the store today to pick up a buffer tube, buffer and spring.

I noticed the stock did not come with a screw.

I was just wondering what size screw it was so I can get one at a hardware store or mc mcaster-carr.

Or does it share a common screw with a A1 or A2 stock that my local gun store may have?

TIA

IIRC, you use the same screw that was on the A2 stock

I went to the LGS. They pulled a a2 stock screw out and opened a PRS box.

The screw is much shorter.  It looks to be proprietary.

IIRC it needs to have a hole bored through it too.

We make the screw and it is for the PRS only. It is the same length as the A1 screw with the vent hole drilled but differed in that is in a flathead (and not conical) bolt head so it can tighten on the polymer surface without damage.

If you are missing the screw contact our customer support and we will send one at to you at no charge.
