Im about ready to place an order for my first LaRue rifle. Unfortunately I live in NJ so I need to order a compliant version that has a pinned and welded muzzle device. LaRue charges an extra $100 for the NJ version. Is the muzzle device included in that or is it $100 to pin and weld plus the cost of the muzzle device? Im looking at either the Surefire Muzle Brake or the PWS Comp. Which one do you guys seem to like better? Which one has the least side concussion? (I only have experience with Battle Comp)

Thanks! Hope to place the order today!

$100 is the pinning cost, they will pin a standard flashhider if you don't purchase something else, I only have experience with the SF brake and it is quite concussive. You could always get the SF flashhider if you don't want to annoy the guy next to you.

Unfortunately NJ doesnt allow us to have flashhiders. It has to be a brake or comp. So LaRue essentially charges and extra $200 dollars when its all said and done to actually make the rifle compliant? ($100 to pin plus ~$100 for muzzle device)

You're buying a product with extra parts....yes, Larue charges for the extra parts.

Thats what I was confused about. Im not getting both muzzle pieces, they are being swapped. The cost difference between them on their website is only $70 so thats what I thought the extra hundred you are paying was for. (70 for comp, ~30 for welding). For a $100, this better be an awesome pin job haha
