Long time listener, first time caller....
Steve, Out of curiosity, why aren't the RRA Predator Pursuit barrels fluted to save on weight? To me it seems that a pound or so will help when carrying over a period of time chasing the coyotes. If I have mine fluted will it void any part of my warranty? Thanks in advance! |

You won't get a pound by fluting it...you might get 4-6 ounces.
The Predator is the lightened version of the 20" Varmint A4...and a pound+ was saved by going to the match HBAR instead of the Bull Barrel. Yes, by fluting the barrel you would void the warranty (at least on the upper half)... Steve/RRA |
