Last October I snagged my first SBR at a gunshow in Roanoke Va, it was a Bushmaster XM15.  From then on I've been infected with SBR disease.  The first week of December I purchased a new SBR ( So my wife can give it to me for Christmas )from a gunshop around my area.

It is the RRA Tactical Entry.  The first thing I noticed was the handgrip felt much more comfortable than Bushy's.  Then I noticed the price, easily $100 cheaper than the Bushys on display.  So I whipped out my VISA and went home a happy man.

Opening the case ( which is impressive in itself ) I noted the 30rd mag, instead of the 10 rounder Bushy gave me.  I was like " hey more gun for less cash " as I thumbed the nicer profiled fire-selector.

2 weeks ago I snagged a Harris bipod & adapter #5 and installed it on my sweety from RRA.  Reading the instructions I removed the handguard and saw that the heatshield is actually dual-layered, which my Bushy is not.  Again I said to myself  " hey more gun for less cash ".

And at that moment I noticed the workmanship differences between the two.  The back of the incline on the front sights,  well the 'grind-job' on the Bushy was.....shoddy.  And I also noticed the 'seam' on the front of the magwell was kinda sloppy, so I look for the 'seam' on my RRA.  Lo & Behold, no seams that I can detect on the lower.

And I must say that my RRA feels 'right' when shooting.

Sure I'm new to SBRs, but even a n0Ob like me can appreciate & see the differences.

I guess I am now an un-official 'fan-boy' of RRA  I love yalls products, and your catalog is easier on the eyes than Bushy's.

Hope you have federal tax stamps and BATFE paperwork for all those "SBR"s you're referring to.

And I like my RRA rifles too.....all 5 of them and counting.

Actually I did mean SBR, as in Sexy Black Rifle.  That's how we refer to them in my parts of Va.  I realized I should have clarified not a Short Barrel Rifle when
1badf350  threw that dealer/seller/collector requirement at me.  ( can you say "minor panic"? )

As an owner/operator only, he had me scratching my head in a bad way, till I realized my usage of SBR is a bit different than over his way. Never did like the term Evil Black Rifle, something so seductive could never be evil, despite what the lefties think
