Just a quick range report.

Yesterday was my first time out with my RRA NM A4. The wind was very strong and gusty, by far the worse I have seen at my range. No matter the weather, I had a new toy that needed to be de-flowered.

While I was changing targets, the wind up ended my thin shooting mat that I had on the bench. On the mat, which had the front rolled for my rest, was my rifle, ammo box containing 300+ rounds, magazines, a few tools, note pad, etc. Certainly enough weight to hold it down...wrong...fail.

The wind launched my NM up and onto the concrete / asphalt flooring. The detachable sight base, took most of the force in on the nuts that holds the base to the flat top. I picked the rifle up, cycled the bolt a few times, zeroed my sights down, brought them up to my setting and they resumed zero. So an A++ for the tough detachable sight to rifle mounting system to hold zero like that. Plus the entire package is accurate as hell.

Thanks RRA.
