I could've sworn LT had a Rem 700 base/ring combo at one time. I can only find the individual components. No biggie, but I thought it was cheaper to get the bundle than piecemeal.

Also, I am waiting on delivery of a Vortex 4-16x50 Viper PST that will be going on a Rem 700 AAC-SD (that I have yet to order). Kinda bass-akwards to order a rifle to match an optic instead of the other way around, but that's just how I am.

Should I go with the standard 123 rings or the ultra low 719. I want to keep the scope as low as possible (obviously). But, I'm sure the ultra lows are too low.

I know I can shoot them an email, but I'm in no hurry (still don't have the rifle to shoot and I'm Trashcanistan). Just looking for help from the "fanboys"

I THINK the combo was for the 10/22.  I have not seen one for the 700.

As far as ring heights go, I have a PSS with a Leupold Mark 4 ER/T in 50mm and used the ultra low 719 rings with LaRue's base.  I still have some room under the obj.  I did have to trim a few notches off the front of the base to get my scope mounted properly rearward.  The 50mm ER/T doesn't have as much transition room from the scope tube to the obj diameter as some other scopes so YMMV.

Was this what you were thinking of.  Combo/ LT719 QD Ultra-Low Mount, LaRue Cheek Pad and LT113 Rail

I think you can do the -719's... the rings themselves provide for .875" centerline over rail, which alone would support a 50mm, but the added height of the rail itself, and the barrel profile of the 700aac-sd looks like it would have enough extra...

I can't say definitively though...

Sh*t yeah, that's the one. Forgot it included the cheek pad. Don't really know if I need it or not. And I know if the rings are too low, Marks "If you ain't happy" guarantee will get me squared away.

The barrel is a standard bull profile. The only difference is it comes threaded from the factory. So, it shouldn't affect the fit over a standard 700 Tactical model.
