I have a receiver that I started putting together the other evening, and there are two issues that I wanted to bring to RRA's attention:

1. Inserting the selector detent into the detent hole, there seems to be a burr near the top of the channel, as it won't seat all of the way,
and the selector doesn't "SNAP" into place, going to/from "SAFE" to "FIRE." "Mushes" into place seems to be the right way to put it -
like the detent isn't holding the selector in place, just friction keeping it at it's particular setting. (Does that make sense?) (Several
detents tried - all the same results.)(Possible safety issue.)

2. Installation of the front pivot pin. When you go to install the front pivot pin, it appears that when the right "shelf" (for lack of a
better term) was milled to give the edge of the pivot pin clearance when seated - it seems that the milling process started, then the
jig or receiver moved. The angle is a few degrees off, and you cannot fully 'seat' the front pivot pin, as it's top edge hits the receiver.
(Like the cut is angled forward a degree or so, when it should be a 90º.)
Again, not a parts issue - at the bottom of the angle, you can see where the correct cut was started, then angles off. (Possible safety issue.)

My gunsmith said that he's never seen an issue like this w/ an RRA receiver, and can't believe that the receiver made it off the factory
floor w/ these issues.

See pic for area in question:

Before posting to a forum where nobody can make it right for you, did you contact Customer Service at RRA, who can make it right for you?  866-980-7625.  We would like to see it and get one of our QA guys on it to see what did happen.
Thanks.

Several calls were made by my smith, messages left and no calls were returned. That's
the only reason I posted here. I can try again.

Make sure the little detente pin for the selector is not in backwards - at least with the LPK I had both ends are not the same.

Not the case, but thanks for the heads-up. One of the first things that we checked for.

Some of their lowers have been out of spec.  I had one and it was replaced.  You'll need to give them the serial number to confirm if yours is affected.

Finally got hold of Customer Service. They gave me an RMA# as they want me to send it back.
