I'm considering sending my upper, lower and barrel to y'all for refinishing in KG GunKote. Does my lower need to be disassembled? And what is the best way to send my lower? I've done the FFL process before but never for sending a receiver out.

Unless you want ALL  the little parts painted on the lower, it needs to be disassembled.  Send the lower via UPS. Since the receiver is coming in for work, it can be shipped directly back to you.
