Was looking to get my hbar barrel reprofiled to lightweight, but I had a question: With reprofiling the barrel I wanted to do under handguards & infront of the gas block. Do u guys reprofile the area around the gas block or just leave it at .750??
And another question how much extra weight does the reprofiling infront of the gasblock take off? I have a midlength HBAR Thanks! Justin |

Probably only looking at 2 to 3 oz when doing in front of the gas block, on a standard Hbar. So, in my opinion, not worth doing unless that is the "look" you are going for. |

I'm looking at having a 16" stainless barrel cut down to 14.5" and reprofiled to .565. Is that even possible? Also would the gas block seat need to stay at .625 or is there a gas block out there that would fit a .565 barrel? .625" is the smallest without a custom built one. |

As stated about, you would need a custom gas block, and we don't do that, and not sure of anyone that does. |
