Brought home my Optimus this week, and ordered a 2nd Checkmate QD. Now I'm thinking about a 45. The Resistance looks good, can use many of the same mounts as my Optimus, and is in stock.
Is the Resistance rated for .45 Colt on a 20" Winchester 94? My pig loads are 300gr bullets with 22gr of H110 - fairly stout, but not quite a max load. |

That load is technically a +P load, and those are more than halfway to 454 casull muzzle energy.
Given your application is a 20" barrel, I think you'll be ok, but it may make sense to use a fixed mount for that. The fixed barrel spacer is 6061 and we haven't really put it into any crazy testing senarios- just std 9mm, 45ACP etc. |
