I love that commercial...brings a tear to my eye every time I watch it...
But I'm a tanker and I can't help it... [Rant]I'm sorry the popped collar bothers me...as does the facial hair, and no cover... What does it take to get it right? I mean, anyone in the branch of service you are trying to portray could be an adviser and get it right...[/Rant] |

Regardless awesome commercial. |

Regardless awesome commercial. Yes, awesome commercial and it did bring a tear to my eyes so please no one take offense at my humorous explanation about the soldier being less than squared away. You see, the soldier had already been on leave for a couple of days thus explaining the facial hair. As you know, he was making up for lost time the previous few days and looked to be in pretty good shape considering all the shenanigans he'd been part of. The uniform? Well, we all know that when you fly home you get head of the line privileges when flying in uniform so that explains that. As far a the collar goes, well... we did not see the lovely young lady tucked away in the cab that he was bringing home to introduce to his family. So you see, it all makes sense. Please feel free to fill in any blanks I may have left out. |
