Can these be used to clamp a barrel in a vise to change out the fh? Also can they be used to clamp an upper in a vice for barrel changes? Haven't seen any real detailed specifics on it.

Don't mean to hijack your thread but I too have a question about the block. Does it allow for a rock free stable platform for the lower to rest on when hammering the trigger guard pin?

Thank God there is finally a nice solution to this!! Hammering away at the trigger guard pin is always a crap shoot with me. When the rest of my build comes together (waiting on lowers from engraver) this will be ordered. Thanks Bryan!!

yes you can snug up the fsb in a vise with the blocks around it

You could also put the flat top receiver in the vise sideways, with a wood block on each side, FH don't require to much force

I've got my blocks now I will put them to the test I have 3 lowers to assemble Saturday. I didn't end up ordering until the 22nd I believe and they came today. Big thumbs up to aim.
