Getting ready to pull the trigger on a pred.
What's the process I provide my cc online. Then what? I have read I receive a phone call from larue???? |
|
While I didn't order a full rifle, this is what I did...
Find an FFL you want to deal with nearby, and ask if they have an FFL on file with LaRue. If they do, get their business address information, and enter that in the "Comments" section of the order form online. If they don't, ask them to fax their information to LaRue, along with your order number (right after you place the order). Having them include your name and order number helps sort out what's being built for whom... Once you place the order online, your status will probably say "Compliance, Call Julie" Once you call and speak to her, verify that your FFL has faxed in their information, along with your order number. Go back and forth between LT and your FFL until Julie confirms that they have received it, and your order is "In Cue" Sit back and wait for the LT magic to arrive. |
| Don't wait, man. Order now. Then just get the FFL of your choice to fax their info to Larue next week. If you wait all weekend, you just put off your rifle delivery by....weeks if not months. People are ordering up left and right. Elbow your way into the line ASAP! :) |
|
Also, get a copy of your dealers FFL in PDF, then you can fax or email it whenever you want something without hassling them or wondering if they sent it to the Manufacture or dealer.... Then after you place the order give your FFL a heads up that its coming and when to expect it... When you get the shipping notice, call them back and give'em a reminder... |

Lol ok convinced me! Bringing up the home page now:) Those were words of wisdom. At this point, even one day probably separates 100 people on a list... a buddy ordered about an hour after I did the night predatobrs when online. He's 150 behind me. |

I've been reading this forum for a while now and decided to join now that I can participate in the fun.
I am about to begin working in Oklahoma When I order a rifle from Larue does the FFL transfer need to take place in Texas since I will not technically be a resident of Oklahoma? I believe this can be an issue with handguns but I am unsure as far as rifles are concerned. I wanted to have the FFL info. ready for the folks at Larue when I order and get "the call" from Amy or Juli or whoever. Sorry to dig up an old thread but I've learned not to start threads like the one yesterday afternoon

That was right when the pre-order for the tOBR happened, so my bet would be that the majority of the orders were for the rifle. |
